About NannyBeth

Bethany Pires here, also known as “NannyBeth” :). I’m a Christ follower, a wife, a teacher, a communicator, a nanny, a singer, and a coffee lover. Nice to meet you!

In 2010, I graduated with my BA in Communications from Eastern Nazarene College. Since then, I have dabbled in many career paths. I’ve worked as a promotional intern at Bristol Production Studios in Boston, a personal insurance agent for Liberty Mutual, a para professional at the Rochester Middle School, an ESL teacher in Bogota, Colombia, a 3rd grade teacher at Tri-City Christian Academy and a professional nanny in Boston, Massachusetts. While experimenting with these different positions, I found one very important thing to be true: I absolutely LOVE teaching! Currently, I’m working as a nanny for two adorable little girls and sharing my vision and mission with others like you. Day after day, just like you I am sure, I strive to be the best I can be. I remind myself that they look to my actions far before they listen to my words.

My mission is to embolden both Christian parents and nannies to keep Biblical principles and truths central to the raising and training of their children. According to a recent study, 83% of Americans claim to be Christian. This is hard to see. If in fact, 83% percent of Americans love Jesus and claim his promises, then where is the fruit of that tree? My vision here is to open the eyes to connection between profession of belief and action in life. I hope to provide a more comprehensive set of resources, tools and information that will facilitate the action that takes place when we love Jesus in our families and our work. My goal is to ultimately, through these trained and equipped parents and nannies, to raise soldiers of the faith. To lead a generation in truth, hope and love that will impact our desperate and hurting world for Christ and life! This is the mission and this is the purpose for all of the work done by NannyBeth. We are all in this together.

Thanks so much for taking a minute to say hello! I look forward to hearing from you and working with you. You are doing a good work, friends!
